Man found dead under suspicious circumstances in Horana
A police investigation has been launched after a man was found dead under suspicious circumstances on an abandoned plot of land across the canal near Ilimba Junction in the Horana Police Division.
The deceased has been identified as a 51-year-old resident of Pokunuwita, police said.
A magistrate’s inquiry into the death is scheduled to be conducted today (17).
Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by the Horana Police.
