Opposition parties to rally against proposed 22nd Amendment on Sept. 24
Representatives of all opposition parties are expected to gather near the Parliament Roundabout on September 24 to voice their opposition to the proposed 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, according to the Joint Opposition.
Representatives of the Joint Opposition made the announcement while participating in a programme today.
They alleged that the proposed constitutional amendment could pave the way for the country to move towards a one-party system under the current government.
The opposition representatives said members of all opposition parties would stage a protest near Parliament on September 24.
