Former Western Province Health Minister Jagath Thilakasiri Perera, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) earlier today has been granted bail.
Perera was arrested over alleged offences under Part II of the Bribery Act, including offences specified under Section 30 and Section 23(a)(1) of the Act.
Subsequently, he was produced before court.
