Flood warning for Kalu Ganga sub-basin extended for 48 hours
The flood warning issued for the Kuda Ganga sub-basin of the Kalu Ganga has been extended for a further 48 hours, the Irrigation Department has announced.
The Department said the warning, initially issued at 9.30 a.m. on September 20, has been extended in view of the prevailing conditions.
Residents in the affected areas have been urged to remain highly vigilant and take necessary precautions.
The Irrigation Department has also called on motorists travelling along roads in the affected areas, particularly minor and access roads, to exercise extreme caution due to the risk of flooding.
