A mound of earth has collapsed onto the Hatton-Colombo main road in the Kuyilwatte area this evening (24) due to heavy rainfall experienced in the area.
Hatton Police said the earth slip is currently obstructing vehicular traffic along the road.
The Road Development Authority in Norwood said arrangements are underway to clear the debris from the roadway as soon as possible.
