Monday and Tuesday quarter-final action of the Men's Asian Games cricket competition has been curtailed by persistent rain in Nagoya.

Yesterday, both Pakistan's match with Hong Kong, China and India's meeting with Afghanistan were abandoned. This morning, the Nepal-Sri Lanka meeting and Bangladesh's match with Malaysia had a similar fate.

As the higher-seeded teams in their respective quarter-finals, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka qualified for the semi-finals.

Accordingly, Pakistan will play Bangladesh on Thursday morning, while India meet Sri Lanka on Thursday afternoon.

India are defending champions in the event, having won gold in Hangzhou three years ago.

Asian Games Men's Semi-Final line-up

  • Pakistan v Bangladesh - October 1 - 9:00am local time

  • India v Sri Lanka - October 1 - 2:00pm local time
