
Revised fuel prices announced by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) came into effect today (October 1), with increases recorded for Auto Diesel, Super Diesel and Petrol 92 Octane.
The CPC announced yesterday that the price of Super Diesel has increased by Rs. 50 to Rs. 528 per litre, marking the largest increase among the revised fuel prices.
The price of Auto Diesel has been increased by Rs. 10 to Rs. 392 per litre, while Petrol 92 Octane has risen by Rs. 15 to Rs. 414 per litre.
There has been no change in the prices of Petrol 95 Octane and kerosene, which remain at Rs. 475 and Rs. 285 per litre respectively.
The revised CPC prices are:
- Auto Diesel: Rs. 392 — up Rs. 10
- Super Diesel: Rs. 528 — up Rs. 50
- Petrol 92 Octane: Rs. 414 — up Rs. 15
- Petrol 95 Octane: Rs. 475 — no change
- Kerosene: Rs. 285 — no change
Meanwhile, Lanka IOC (LIOC) has also revised its fuel prices to match the new rates announced by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
