Peacock has officially given a series order to a new live-action scripted television show set within the Fast & Furious universe.
The project brings the long-running action franchise to television, eyeing a targeted premiere window in 2028.
The series is executive produced by franchise star Vin Diesel through One Race, alongside Sam Vincent, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and veteran franchise writer Chris Morgan. Mike Daniels (Sons of Anarchy) and Wolfe Coleman (911: Lone Star) are set to serve as co-showrunners, pilot writers, and executive producers for the Universal Television production.
Peacock is aiming to premiere the series in 2028 to coincide with the arrival of Fast Forever, the next feature film installment in the franchise scheduled for theatrical release on March 17, 2028. The development expands on Diesel’s prior announcement during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation, marking the franchise’s formal push into live-action episodic storytelling.
