The Prime Minister said under the new curriculum reforms, students from Grades 6 to 9 will be provided with knowledge on entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
As the first phase of the initiative, the subject is scheduled to be introduced to all Grade 6 students in schools across the country in 2027, the Prime Minister said.
She also noted that programmes such as the Stock Market Game and School Capital Market Clubs have been introduced to provide schoolchildren and young people with practical knowledge of entrepreneurship and investment from an early age.
