The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) says it expects to submit a no-confidence motion against Speaker of House Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne during this week.

 

SJB Parliamentarians made the remarks while speaking to the media following a special discussion held at the Office of the Opposition Leader today (5).

 

The MPs said the coming week will be a crucial one for the Speaker, as the opposition prepares to move forward with the no-confidence motion.

 

They added that further action regarding the motion is expected to be taken in Parliament during the course of this week.
