The Colombo High Court has ordered that the case against Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, who is accused of insulting the religion of Islam, be recalled on October 23.

 

The case was taken up today before Colombo High Court Judge Buddhika C. Ragala, said Ada Derana reporter.

 

At the time, Gnanasara Thero, who had been arrested under a warrant, was produced before the court by prison officials dressed in civilian attire.

 

After considering the submissions made, the High Court Judge ordered that the case be recalled on October 23.
