JSC decides to dismiss former Chief Magistrate Thilina Gamage
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to remove interdicted former Chief Magistrate and District Judge of Moratuwa, Thilina Gamage, from his post after finding him guilty of all the charges against him in the course of an inquiry.
He had faced several charges, including the unlawful possession of an elephant calf.
Following investigations into the allegations, the Judicial Service Commission had taken steps to suspend him from service.
