SriLankan Airlines suspends Riyadh flights until October 18

SriLankan Airlines has announced the temporary suspension of all flights to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, until 18 October 2026, in view of the recent security incident affecting Riyadh Airport and ongoing safety and operational assessments.

 

In a statement, the airline said that the safety and security of its passengers and crew remain its highest priority.

 

The airline further stated that flight services would resume once the prevailing conditions are assessed to be suitable for commercial flight operations.
