Nanu Oya-Badulla train services resume…

Passenger train services between Nanu Oya and Badulla on the Upcountry railway line resumed at 9.00 a.m. today (20) after being suspended for seven months due to the damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah. Train operations had been limited due to a landslide on the railway line in the Parakumpura area between Ambewela and Nanu Oya, with services operating only between Ambewela and Badulla. The services resumed following the restoration of the affected railway section.
