‘Udayagiri’ hosts reception in Colombo…

Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) attended a reception hosted aboard the visiting Indian Navy ship ‘Udayagiri’ at the Colombo Port. The reception was organized on Wednesday (09), by the High Commission of India in Colombo in honour of Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is currently visiting Sri Lanka. Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha received the distinguished guests upon their arrival. Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Parliamentarians, members of the diplomatic corps, Tri-Forces commanders, members of the visiting Indian defence delegation, senior state officials and Tri-Forces officers were also present.
