Pathum Nissanka scores his 4th ODI century

Sri Lanka’s top order batter Pathum Nissanka hammered his fourth ODI century and his first against the Afghans in ODI format.
The star opener played a delightful knock against Afghanistan in the first ODI at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and remains on the stumps, bagging 136 in 111 deliveries, a short while ago.
The 25-year-old celebrated his 50th ODI in style by smashing an 88-ball hundred. Sri Lanka were 201/1 when Nissanka reached his milestone.
Nissanka has amassed 1,800-plus runs in this format at an average above 38. Besides four centuries, the opener has also slammed 13 fifties in ODI cricket.
Notably, he has hammered 400-plus runs against Afghanistan in nine ODIs at an average above 58. He owns a solitary century and two fifties against the Afghans.
