Ransilu Jayathilake has consistently represented Sri Lanka on the global powerlifting stage, and his outstanding accomplishments speak to his exceptional talent and dedication. Notably, his achievements include winning silver medals in both the Single-Open and Raw-Open categories at the 2019 Commonwealth Championships in Canada. Prior to that, in 2015, he secured a gold medal in the Single-Open and a silver medal in the Raw-Open at the Commonwealth Championships held in British Columbia, Canada. He holds the distinction of being the first individual from any region to win the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship four times.
