Mendis, Nissanka and Asalanka among batters with most ODI runs in 2024

Kusal Mendis (SL): The Sri Lankan top-order batter tops the list of run-scorers in 2024 with 742 runs in 17 matches and as many innings. He boasts an average of 53.00 and a strike rate of 90.59, including one century and six fifties.
Pathum Nissanka (SL): Sri Lankan opener, Pathum Nissanka, ranks second with 694 runs in 12 matches and innings. With an impressive average of 63.09 and a strike rate of 106.44, he has smashed three centuries and two fifties this year.
Charith Asalanka (SL): Sri Lankan captain also finds his place on the list. Asalanka is the third-highest run-scorer in ODIs this year, accumulating 605 runs in 18 matches and 16 innings. He averages 50.41 at a strike rate of 97.11, with one century and four fifties to his name.
