Kusal Mendis (SL): The Sri Lankan top-order batter tops the list of run-scorers in 2024 with 742 runs in 17 matches and as many innings. He boasts an average of 53.00 and a strike rate of 90.59, including one century and six fifties.

Pathum Nissanka (SL): Sri Lankan opener, Pathum Nissanka, ranks second with 694 runs in 12 matches and innings. With an impressive average of 63.09 and a strike rate of 106.44, he has smashed three centuries and two fifties this year.

Charith Asalanka (SL): Sri Lankan captain also finds his place on the list. Asalanka is the third-highest run-scorer in ODIs this year, accumulating 605 runs in 18 matches and 16 innings. He averages 50.41 at a strike rate of 97.11, with one century and four fifties to his name.

Keacy Carty (WI): The West Indies batter sits fourth with 560 runs in 12 matches and 11 innings. He has an average of 62.22 and a strike rate of 88.05, highlighted by one century and three fifties.

Harsh Thaker (CAN): Canada’s Harsh Thaker is fifth, having scored 553 runs in 15 matches and innings. His performances include two centuries and two fifties, with an average of 46.08 and a strike rate of 71.17.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz (AFG): Afghanistan’s wicketkeeper-batter and opener, Rahmanullah Gurbaz is sixth on the list, having scored 531 runs in 11 matches and innings. He averages 48.27 and has a strike rate of 89.69, with three centuries and two fifties to his name.

Pargat Singh (CAN): Another Canadian in Pargat Singh ranks seventh with 520 runs in 13 matches and innings. He has an average of 43.33 and a strike rate of 80.00, supported by five fifties this year. 

Saim Ayub (PAK): Pakistan’s young batting sensation, Saim Ayub, is eighth on the list, amassing 515 runs in just nine matches and innings. He averages a remarkable 64.37 and has a strike rate of 105.53, with three centuries and one fifty.
