Ex-Test cricketer Jayananda Warnaweera passes away, aged 64

Former Test cricketer Jayananda Warnaweera has passed away at the age of 64.

Warnaweera, who also functioned as the chief curator of the Galle International Cricket played 10 Test matches and six One-Day Internationals between 1986 and 1994.

He picked up five wickets in his last Test match against Pakistan in 1994.

Following his retirement, Jayananda Warnaweera took up various administrative roles.
