South Africa eased to a seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the third one- day international to wrap up the series 3-0.
South Africa bowled Sri Lanka out for a modest 163 innings which amounted to only an inadequate 163 all out in 39.2 overs.
Allrounder Dwaine Pretorius, who came into the side for Wayne Parnell claimed career-best figures of 3-19 on his return to the South Africa side
Sri Lanka had made a promising start, with openers Niroshan Dickwella and Upul Tharanga putting on 60 for the first wicket but Kagiso Rabada made the breakthrough when he had Tharanga (31) caught at fine leg, and wickets fell regularly thereafter.
While Sri Lanka struggled there was no panic in South Africa’s reply.
AB de Villiers (60no) hit a 52-ball half-century to guide them to their series- sealing victory under lights with 18 overs to spare.
