138th Battle of the Blues ends in draw

The 138th Battle of the Blues, the annual cricket encounter between Royal College Colombo and S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia, ended in a draw as play was suspended due to bad light on Saturday (11).
Royal College scored 255 runs it he first innings while the Thomians posted 357/9 in response.
Royal had reached 154/8 in their second innings when the match was suspended due to bad light.
The Dialog Trophy was shared by both teams while the D.S.Senanayake Shield was retained by Royal College.
R.Nallaperruma of and S. Thomas’ College was adjudged the Man of the Match.
