Sri Lanka Women’s cricket team coach resigns

Mr. Hemantha Devapriya, the Coach of Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket team has tendered his resignation, with immediate effect.

Devapriya was the coach of the Women’s team since October 2016 and cited personal reasons for his resignation, SLC said. He was contracted up until October 2018.

“Whilst thanking Devapriya for his services, SLC will start the process of engaging a new coach to take the women’s team forward,’’ said Ashley De Silva, CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket.
