Royal beat Isipathana to win Major Milroy Fernando Trophy

Royal College won the Major Milroy Fernando Trophy, beating Isipathana College 22 – 17.
The teams met at the Royal College Sports Complex on Saturday evening (12 Aug) for the Super Round league encounter of the Dialog Schools Rugby League 2023, vying for the Major Milroy Fernando Trophy.
Meanwhile, Trinity College beat S. Thomas’ College, 31-20, to retain the Canon R.S. De Saram Shield.
S. Thomas’ College hosted Trinity College for the encounter this evening at the S. Thomas’ College Grounds in Mt. Lavinia.
