Asia Cup finals: Gates open for public at 12 noon

The Sri Lanka Cricket announced that the gates will be opened for the public at 12.00 noon today (17) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo for the 2023 Asia Cup finals.
Meanwhile, the SLC which informs that tickets for the finals of the Asia Cup 2023 have been sold out, advises the public not to arrive at ticket counters or the ground to purchase tickets to watch the epic final between Sri Lanka and India.
The ones who have purchased tickets to watch the final are advised to arrive early in order to avoid congestion, SLC said.
Furthermore, Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa warned the public not to buy counterfeit tickets for the Asia Cup 2023 Finals at the R. Premadasa Stadium today as their QR codes will be checked at gates.
They are also warned not to bring with them any items like sharp weapons, glass bottles, helmets etc. that can harm or inconvenience others, he added.
