Samitha Dulan wins Silver at Asian Para Games 2023

Sri Lanka’s Samitha Dulan won the Silver Medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw (F64) event with a throw of 64.09 meters at the Asian Para Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
This brings Sri Lanka’s medals tally at the ongoing games to two Golds and one Silver.
Para-athlete Pradeep Somasiri has won the Gold medal for Sri Lanka in the Men’s 1500m (T46) event yesterday (Oct. 24) with a timing of 4:05.14 minutes.
Meanwhile, Nuwan Indika also bagged a Gold medal for Sri Lanka in the Men’s 100m (T44) event, clocking a timing of 11.63 seconds.
The 2022 Asian Para Games kicked off in Hangzhou, China on October 22, and will be held until October 28.
