Tangalle shooting: Russian woman fails to identify suspects

Thirteen of the fourteen witnesses in the Tangalle shooting incident that left a British national dead have identified all five suspects in an identification parade at the Tangalle Magistrate Courts last night. However the Russian companion Victoria Alexandrova of the victim Khuram Shaikh who was also injured in the attack was unable to identify any of the suspects.

 

The five suspects in the trial include the Chairman of the Tangalle Pradeshiya Sabha Sampath Chandrapushpa Widanapathirana.

 

The case was postponed for 14 days after the hearing.
