Dunesh Gankanda released on bail

UNP MP Dunesh Gankanda, who surrendered to Kollupitiya police today over an alleged assault incident, has been released on bail after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court.
Fort Chief Magistrate Kanishta Wijeratne released the parliamentarian on a cash bail of Rs. 30,000 and two surety bails of Rs. 100,000 however ordered him to appear at the Kollupitiya Police on the last Sunday of every month.
