Parliamentarian Duminda Silva on Wednesday (22) handed over a report on his assets and liabilities to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

Earlier, the police sought a court order to probe the bank accounts of the Opposition MP after drug baron ‘Wela Sudha’ testified to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that he paid money to the politico.

Wela Sudha, who was arrested in Pakistan and later deported to Sri Lanka, disclosed that he paid Rs. 2.5 million to Silva as a commission.
