43rd Annual Navam Maha Perahera of Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya was paraded Friday night (February 26). President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, gracing the event, ceremoniously commenced the procession after placing the Sacred Relics Casket on the caparisoned elephant. The procession was organized the guidance of Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Thero and under the supervision of Ven. Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero.
