Fuel train accident…

An accident took place between the Minneriya and Higurakgoda railway stations this morning (18) when a fuel train, en route from the Kolonnawa petroleum storage terminal to Batticaloa, struck a herd of wild elephants. 

Four fuel tanks of the train have been damaged, with two of them overturning due to the impact.
