VIDEO: MiG-27 crashes, pilot safe

A MiG-27 fighter aircraft belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has crashed near Dummalasuriya in Kurunegala today afternoon, a SLAF spokesman said.
The aircraft which took off from Katunayake had crashed at around 1.35 pm, SLAF media spokesman Group Captain Andrew Wijesuriya said.
The pilot had ejected from the aircraft before it hit the ground and is safe, he said.
