Eight youths who were arrested in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 16-year-old girl in the Jalthara area of Hanwella, have been remanded until June 28.
The suspects were produced before the Homagama Acting Magistrate Padmasiri Jayawardena today (24).
Hanwella Police have filed charges against the suspects, including rape, forcible detention, abduction, and unlawful assembly.
