2023 U19 Asia Cup: Sri Lanka register 7-wicket win against Japan

The Sri Lanka U19 squad won by 7 wickets in their match against the Japanese team, in the fourth match of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U19 Asia Cup 2023.
The match kicked off at the ICC Academy Ground No.2 in Dubai this morning (09 Dec.), with Sri Lanka winning the toss and opting to bowl.
Sri Lanka took out three wickets in the first over of the game, and continued their streak, bowling Japan out for a score of 75 runs in 30.3 overs.
U19 Captain Sineth Jayawardena slammed three fours and a sixer in their innings, while Pulindu Perera and Rusanda Gamage also contributed with two fours each, paving the way for Sri Lanka’s victory with the team totaling a score of 76 runs in 12.2 overs, with only three wickets down.
