Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has obtained the highest number of votes in the Mahiyanganaya polling division in Badulla District with a total of 38,564 votes.

 

Sajith Premadasa – 38,564
Anura Kumara Dissanayake – 31-197
Ranil Wickremesinghe - 11,282

 

Meanwhile, SJB leader Premadasa has also polled the highest votes in the Hali-Ela polling division in the Badulla District.

 

Sajith Premadasa – 22,562
Anura Kumara Dissanayake – 18,275
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 14, 033

 

Premadasa has also secured victory in the Welimada polling division in the Badulla District.

 

Sajith Premadasa – 27,039
Anura Kumara Dissanayake - 24,434
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 9,274

 

The opposition leader is also placed first in the Puttalam polling division in Puttalam district.

The Passara polling division in Badulla District has also been won by Sajith Premadasa after obtaining 23,031 votes.

He is also the winner in the Nuwara-Eliya Maskeliya polling division in the Nuwara-Eliya District.
