Hambantota District final results; NPP wins 5 seats

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results of the Hambantota District in the 2024 General Election with the National People’s Power (NPP) polling more than 66% of the total votes in the district. 

 

NPP has polled 234,083 votes to win the district while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is second with 52,170 votes (14.79%).

 

Accordingly, the NPP has secured 05 seats in the district while the SJB and the SLPP have won a seat each in the district. 

 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 234,083 (5 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 52,170 (1 seat)
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 26,268 (1 seat)
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 18,293
‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB) – 5,564
