Hyderabad is poised to host the Miss World 2025 Grand Finale on May 31, 2025, at the Hyderabad International Exhibition Centre (HITEX), marking its the third time India hosting the prestigious pageant after 1996 and 2024.

 

Over the past month, contestants engaged in rigorous challenges, including sports challenge, talent showcase, head to head challenge and top model competition. The red carpet event begins at 5:30 pm on May 31, followed by the much-anticipated coronation gala at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.

 

While the Miss World 2025 pageant is celebrating beauty, it is also serveing as a powerful global platform to showcase the cultural richness and progressive vision of Telangana.

 

As part of the pre-finale itinerary, contestants from over 100 countries embarked on curated tours across the state, immersing themselves in its vibrant history, artistry, and community spirit. They visited iconic heritage sites such as the majestic Charminar, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ramappa Temple, and the famed Pochampally weaving villages, renowned for their intricate Ikat patterns.

 

Notably, Miss India Nandini Gupta secured her place as a Top 40 Quarter finalist and one of the Top 10 finalists from the Asia & Oceania region. In the sports challenge held at Gachibowli Stadium, Estonia’s Eliise Randmaa led Europe’s Blue Team won. Indonesian delegate Monica Kezia Sembiring won the Talent Showcase Finale held at Shilpakala Vedika with a magnetic performance, securing a Top 10 continental spot. Miss India’s Nandini Gupta impressed with a Bollywood dance routine.

 

In the Head-to-Head challenge held at the Trident Hotel, regional winners included Miss Turkey (Asia-Oceania), Miss Wales (Europe), Miss Zambia (Africa), and Miss Trinidad and Tobago (Americas-Caribbean).

 

In the Top Model competition, Miss India (Nandini Gupta), Miss Ireland, Miss Namibia, and Miss Martinique emerged as continental winners, advancing to the finale.

 

Beyond sightseeing, the contestants actively engaged with local communities, gaining first hand insight into Telangana’s social initiatives, particularly those focused on women’s empowerment, skill development, and grassroots entrepreneurship.

 

“I am happy that Telangana prioritizes women’s safety in every field, and I’m grateful to witness that firsthand,” said Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Anna-Lise Nanton.

 

This cultural exchange has elevated the pageant beyond competition, positioning Telangana an emerging global destination.
