The grand finale of Sri Lanka’s first and only reality show for senior citizens, ‘Derana 60 Plus - Season 6’, was held on June 1 in a grand manner.
‘Sampath Sanhida Derana 60 Plus’, a show held for senior citizens of Sri Lanka who are full of singing talent, is the first reality show organized by a local media organization to showcase the musical abilities of individuals over the age of 60.
The most popular star of ‘Sampath Sanhida Derana Derana 60 Plus’ was selected through audience SMS voting, while the most talented star was chosen by the judging panel.
The judges for the grand finale were Visharada Edward Jayakody, Visharada Subani Harshani, and Visharada Janaka Wickramasinghe.
Accordingly, Kularathne Silva was selected as the Most Popular Singing Star in the Grand Finale of ‘Derana 60 Plus - Season 6’.
Piyal Kumara, who competed from the Modara area, was the Champion of ‘Derana 60 Plus - Season 6’.
Sumith Premasiri won second place in this season’s competition, while Kularathne Silva secured third place in the ‘Derana 60 Plus - Season 6’ finals.
