Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 78 runs in the second Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) grounds to clinch the two-match series 1-0, a short while ago.
Bangladesh were skittled out for 133 in 44.2 overs in the fourth morning of the match at SSC to give Sri Lanka valuable World Test Championship points in addition to the series victory.

The opening game of the series which was played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium ended in a high-scoring draw.
