Bad Bunny continues to leap to new heights.
The Grammy-winning Latin superstar, who made music history headlining the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this month, achieved a new musical milestone this week when his song, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the music publication announced Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The song, which serves as the title track of Bad Bunny’s sixth album, marks the singer’s first solo No. 1 on the all-genre chart (he nabbed a No. 1 back in 2018 with his feature on the Cardi B song “I Like It”).
Additionally, the track’s ascendance makes it the first predominantly Spanish-language song by a solo act to top the Hot 100 in the chart’s nearly 70-year history, per Billboard. Other Spanish songs that have landed at No. 1 include “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee (feat. Justin Bieber); “Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)” by Los Del Río; and “La Bamba” by Los Lobos.
“DTMF” isn’t the only Bad Bunny tune heating the charts.
“Baile Inolvidable” and “Nuevayol,” both featured on “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” have climbed to No. 2 and No. 5, respectively, while the singer’s 2022 dembow banger “Tití Me Preguntó” reentered the chart at No. 7, Billboard also reported.
All four songs were featured in Bad Bunny’s halftime show on Feb. 8, a 13-minute set that cemented the reggaeton star’s global reach. With his performance, the native Puerto Rican singer became the first Super Bowl act to perform almost entirely in Spanish (except for a guest appearance from pop star Lady Gaga).
The singer’s highly anticipated halftime show, which generated both fan fervor and political backlash, averaged 128.2 million viewers in the U.S., according to NBC Sports, making it the third-most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history. Online, the performance generated 4 billion views after 24 hours.

Released in January 2025, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” marks a commercial and artistic peak for the singer, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. The album’s eclectic throwback sound pays tribute to the singer’s Boricua roots, incorporating traditional genres such as Plena, salsa and jibaro into his signature Latin urbano style.
The album topped the Billboard 200 chart for four weeks and spawned five top 10 hits on the Hot Latin Songs chart. Meanwhile, all 17 of the album’s tracks charted on the Billboard Hot 100, making Bad Bunny the first Latin artist in history to have over 100 entries on the chart.
The title track, a sentimental Plena and hip-hop fusion about family and heritage, was nominated for record and song of the year at the 68th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 1, where Bad Bunny made history with his win for album of the year.
The victory made “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” the first Spanish-language album in Grammys history to be recognized with the coveted prize. In an emotional acceptance speech, the singer gave a heartfelt tribute to Puerto Rico and the Latino community, saying, “There’s nothing we can’t do.”
“I want to dedicate this award to all the people who had to leave their homeland to follow their dreams,” Bad Bunny said. “To all the Latinos in the world and all the artists who came before and deserved to be on this stage getting this award, thank you.”
