Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda confirm their wedding

Popular Indian actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially confirmed their wedding, making their long-speculated relationship public after nearly eight years.

While sharing their future plans, they called their wedding, “wedding of VIROSH”. The name, Virosh, was created by their fans for Vijay and Rashmika. The couple is reportedly set to get married on February 26 in Udaipur.

Vijay and Rashmika, in their Instagram stories, revealed that their wedding will officially be known as “The Wedding of VIROSH”.

The couple shared a personal note explaining that the name wasn’t inspired by planners or family traditions, but by their fans — who years ago lovingly combined their names into “VIROSH.” What began as a fan-coined identity gradually became a symbol of affection, and now defines this landmark moment in their lives.

Vijay and Rashmika’s note read: “Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves—you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today — with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it — ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us — always. Biggest hugs and full love (sic)!”

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna first worked together on the 2018 Telugu hit Geetha Govindam. Their on-screen chemistry quickly translated into fan-favourite status, and they later reunited for Dear Comrade in 2019.

Over the years, dating rumours have persisted, with fans dissecting holiday photos and public appearances for clues. Though both have maintained they are “good friends”, speculation has never quite faded.

Vijay is gearing up for several upcoming projects, including Ranabaali and other high-profile ventures in Telugu cinema.

Rashmika has been navigating in both Telugu and Hindi cinema. Her last Hindi theatrical release was Thamma, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
