A Kuwait man used a toy gun to seize a thief who sneaked into his house in the Gulf emirate under the cover of night, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The unnamed Kuwaiti, 33, said he saw the Sri Lankan thief enter a store room in the back garden and decided to face him.
“I was worried that he might be armed…so I quickly thought of taking my old toy gun hung on the wall and went to him,” he told Alanba daily.
“When I faced him, I aimed the gun at him and told him to kneel down…he quickly obeyed, not knowing the gun is a fake….I tied him up and called the police, who came and arrested him.” (Emirates24/7)
