A motorcyclist was killed following a collision with a private bus in the Dankotuwa area, police stated. The victim succumbed to his injuries after he was rushed to the Negombo hospital.
The victim was a 35 year old resident of the Potuwatawana area of Kahatavila.
The driver of the bus was taken into custody following the incident, police stated.
