Three candidates to contest for BASL Presidency

Upul Jayasuriya, R.R.S. Thangaraja and Thirantha Walaliyadde PC will contest for the Presidency of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka at the election which will be held on February 20, the BASL Secretary Sanjaya Gamage said.
The final date to hand over nominations to contest the election had been yesterday while the three senior attorneys had submitted their respective nominations for the post of BASL President.
Meanwhile the current secretary of the association, Attorney-at-law Sanjaya Gamage will contest for another term as secretary and has submitted his nomination.
