One person was arrested in possession of a hand grenade at the Ayurveda Centre junction in the Kebaliyapola area in Hakmana, police stated.
The arrest was made on a tip off that the police had received while the suspect was arrested last night (January 15) in possession of a foreign-manufactured grenade.
The suspect is scheduled to be presented before the Deiyandara Magistrate Court today.
