Two persons have drowned in seas off Hungama and Gintota in separate incidents. Hungama Police said that a 49-year-old resident of Maharagama drowned while sea bathing.
The body has been placed at the mortuary of the Ranna Hospital.
In a separate incident an 18-year-old youth drowned while bathing in the sea off Gintota in Galle.
Galle Police said the victim was a resident of Gintota.
