A 19 year old teenager was killed after jumping on to a moving train in Siyambalangama, Polpithigama, police stated.
The victim was a resident of the Palagala area in Galkiriyagama, police added.
Meanwhile, a 35 year old man from Maligatenna in Udawela was also killed after colliding with a train between the Kadugannawa and Pilimatalawa train stations.
