Police seize heroin worth over Rs. 2.8 million

A suspect has been arrested in Ja-Ela with a haul of heroin worth over Rs. 2.8 million in an operation carried out by the Police Narcotics Bureau, acting on information received.
Police confiscated 640 grams of heroin which the suspect had been transporting in a vehicle.
According to information uncovered following the interrogation of the suspect, another individual who aided in the illegal drug racket was also arrested, police spokesman’s office said.
Both suspects are being detained and interrogated at the Police Narcotics Bureau, which is conducting further investigations.
