An unidentified body was found floating in the Bolgoda lake in the Walana area in Panadura, police stated. The body was that of a man around 70 years of age and was discovered by the police.
The body was found following a tip-off to the Pandura-South police.
The body was taken to the Panadura hospital while the police will conduct further investigations into the death of the man.
