Even though we have not done what the United Nations hold important we have done what the government holds important, Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella stated today (February 14).
The Minister said this in response to statements made by the UNHRC High Commissioner Navi Pillay in which she pointed out that Sri Lanka had missed a valuable opportunity to implement the recommendations of the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC).
Minister Rambukwella stated that the country is functioning independently to the best of its ability while accusations will be faced without fear.
