UPDATE: Youth killed following clash at night club

A youth was killed following a clash between two groups at a night club in Kumaratunga Mawatha, Thunmulla early this morning, police said.
The victim, a 22-year-old resident of Barnes Place in Colombo 07, succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Colombo national Hospital.
He is said to be a three-wheeler driver and had visited the night club with several friends. Preliminary inquiries have revealed that an argument with another individual at the club had resulted in the clash, which took place between 2.30am and 4.00am.
The body has been placed at the mortuary of the Colombo National Hospital.
The suspects have been identified while Kollupitiya Police is conducting investigations to arrest them.
